I’m a cook on the Central Coast of California. I currently work in the organic kitchen at Earthbound Farm’s Farm Stand. I’ve also worked at Whole Foods Market, Sierra Mar at Post Ranch Inn and Marinus at Bernardus Lodge. I grew up on a small dairy farm in Vermont where my family also had a retail/wholesale produce business and made maple syrup. I love the culinary bounty that is this part of California: prolific farmers’ markets, an interesting mix of ethnic markets, artisan products and great restaurants. I like to cook pretty much everything, but I have a special affinity for Spanish cuisine and all things Asian. Baking bread is also a passion of mine.
